Job Description

CCAR is looking to hire a

Recovery Coach Manager

responsible for managing, coordinating, and promoting all aspects of CCAR's Youth Recovery Coaching initiatives. This role ensures that services are recovery-focused and responsive to the unique needs of young people impacted by substance use disorder and who may have co-occurring mental health conditions. The Manager provides supervision and support to Youth Recovery Coaches, builds strong partnerships with community and state agencies, and ensures a recovery-focused tone and culture.



Note: This is a pilot program in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Contracted period 1/1/26 - 6/30/27.



Duties and Responsibilities:



Maintain strong working relationships with schools, juvenile justice programs, youth-serving organizations, families, and community partners. Manage all youth recovery coaching initiatives and partnerships. Develop and implement policies and procedures specific to youth recovery program needs. Coordinate CCAR training offerings tailored to Youth Recovery Coaches. Supervision, performance support, and mentorship to Youth Recovery Coaches. Lead orientation and training for Youth Recovery Coaches. Manage scheduling and coverage for Youth Recovery Coaches across programs. Support ongoing professional development with an emphasis on youth engagement strategies, trauma-informed care, and cultural responsiveness. Monitor boundary management. Collaborate with community-based service providers to ensure a seamless continuum of supports for young people and families. Collect and manage data, track outcomes, and prepare reports for CCAR, funders, and stakeholders. Serve as a facilitator or direct service Recovery Coach for youth when necessary. Represent CCAR at community events, outreach efforts, and partnership meetings related to youth recovery. Travel throughout the region as required. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:



Minimum 3 yrs. experience in management or a related field. Experience working with the youth population required. Minimum 3 yrs. experience with staff supervision. Program development and evaluation. Proficiency in recovery coaching. Experience with the addiction recovery process. Familiarity with recovery community, services and resources. Understanding of and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries. Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations. Strong customer service ethic. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Exceptional computer skills including database management.
Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) designation or in process to earn designation.
