We're looking for a detail-oriented

Real Estate Paralegal

with proven

legal and transactional experience

in commercial real estate. This is a hands-on legal support role, working directly with our

in-house counsel and executive team

on leasing, contracts, due diligence, compliance, and closings for a diverse portfolio across the United States.

Key Responsibilities



Support the full lease process from initial draft through negotiation, execution, and closing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of documentation. Prepare, review, and redline commercial real estate documents, including leases, amendments, estoppels, SNDAs, and closing files. Abstract and summarize key lease terms such as rent structures, renewal options, exclusivity clauses, and termination rights. Maintain organized legal and lease databases, tracking key dates, rent escalations, and compliance requirements. Assist with real estate transactions by preparing closing checklists, coordinating signatures, managing escrow materials, and assembling closing binders. Support entity and corporate compliance, including entity formation, annual filings, and governance documentation. Manage tenant communications related to defaults, renewals, and lease enforcement actions. Collaborate with brokers, lenders, title companies, and attorneys to ensure smooth transaction flow and timely completion. Conduct legal and factual research on commercial real estate laws, zoning regulations, and compliance issues. Provide proactive legal and administrative support to leasing, development, and asset management teams.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Minimum of

2 - 3 years' experience

as a

commercial real estate paralegal

or legal administrator in a law firm or real estate company. Strong understanding of

real estate law

, including

title and survey review

,

closing procedures

, and

lease abstraction

.

Experience supporting attorneys

with commercial leasing, acquisitions, or financing transactions is

highly desirable

. Experience with

property management software

(e.g., Yardi or similar). Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

(Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to work

fully on-site

at our Manhattan office.
