About this role: The R&D Project Administrator performs administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, developing agendas, creating part numbers in our database, generating bills of materials (BOMs), and generating New Product Implementation (NPI) Change Orders. The Project Administrator works under the direction of the program or project manager and assists in daily coordination of projects, preparing/maintaining project plans, materials management up to pilot production, budget administration and resources allocation tracking and analysis. The role has some contact with external vendors and purchasing for project inventories and supplies. This position is part of our Sustaining Team in the R&D function located in Loveland, Colorado. The position works on-site in our facility in Loveland. On a typical day in this role, you will:
  • Support development and maintenance of projects that lead to product conception, definition, design, and release to manufacturing and may lead sections of those projects under the guidance of the Project leader/Project Manager.
  • Create part numbers, BOM\xe2\x80\x99s, kit-to-orders, spec sheets, engineering change orders (ECO\xe2\x80\x99s) and other documentation as required for the release and activation of new components, assemblies and products.
  • Generate product structures and other documentation as needed, including electronic component BOM\xe2\x80\x99s and kitting.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing planners and facilitators to plan and implement, model and prototype build cycles.
  • Support project leaders in other project administrative activities including but not limited to tracking capital spend, resource spend, project inventory spends, internal orders, marketing support, data mining, and beta and alpha test material coordination.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Associate Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role supporting in a new product implementation role or design engineering position.
  • Basic understanding of products and processes, including design, manufacturing, and market use of products.
  • Demonstrated expertise with word processors, spreadsheets, databases, project scheduling tools.
  • Good understanding of project management.
The salary range for this role is $55,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $70,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is the company\xe2\x80\x99s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado and may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
