You are responsible for

  • Non-Conformances events including CAPA management when required
  • Local Factory level QMS Process owner for Process validation
  • Partner with SQ on incoming, outgoing, WIP
  • Receiving Inspection /WIP inspection / FG Release
  • Transfer Integrations
  • Resolve quality non-conformities with Philips internal suppliers
  • Analytical Testing
  • Support SQE/SQA/Purchasing
  • Product Ship Holds & Communications
To succeed in this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related engineering experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred)
  • Wide-ranging experience within an engineering function
  • Well versed in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Direct working relationships with suppliers
  • Participated in several NPIs from start to finish
  • Direct shop-floor production engineering sustaining experience
  • Knowledge of or exposure to quality systems, quality tools and methodologies, including Critical to Quality, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto, 8-D, 5 Why, Audit training, skills, or willingness to learn; experience with auditing suppliers preferred.
  • Basic understanding of CAPA, as well as global medical device regulations, requirements and standards such as 21 CFR Parts 803, 806, and 820, ISO13485, and ISO9001
