Job Description
job summary:
An Quality Inspector is needed for a manufacturer of optics products in the Bartlett, TN area. This role involves conducting precise quality inspections using a variety of measurement tools, supporting quality compliance efforts, collaborating within cross-functional teams, and providing training on quality standards and requirements, all while maintaining accurate records and reports.

salary: $17.50 - 18.55 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: High School
responsibilities:
- Perform incoming or first article inspection.
- Create supporting records and reports.
- Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.
- Conduct final/sterile release of products.
- Perform in-process inspections.
- Inspect labels.
- Conduct DHR final review.
- Perform specified functional inspection tests.
- Proficiency in operating inspection tools: Caliper, Micrometer, Optical Comparator, CMM, Pin Gages, Microscope.
- Experience with advanced measurement systems: Vision System, SmartScope.
- Basic computer skills for job duties.
- Independent and team-oriented work capabilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Quality control regulated industry, or equivalent education and experience.
- Two-year Technical Degree.
- ASQ Certification.
