Quality Inspector Level 1 - 1st Shift

Founded in 1987 and located in Contoocook New Hampshire just west of Concord NH.

We are a precision sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining one-stop-shop. A leader in rapid prototyping and short-run production, we have two facilities located in Contoocook-New Hampshire as well as additional facilities and capabilities in California, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

Job Summary: The role of the Quality Inspector Level 1 is to use basic inspection techniques and equipment to perform quality inspections on Sheet Metal AND/OR Machine Shop Products. This position successfully executes inspection strategies with assistance from higher level inspectors

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform the In-Process and Final inspections with assistance, when required
• Perform inspections on product received from Outside Processes
• Inspect parts to print and models using various inspection techniques and equipment
• Apply concepts to inspect products efficiently
• Assist with FAI reports and Customer Cert Requirements
• Learn to use Mie Trak and gain the ability to print NCR Work Orders
• Learn Solidworks modeling software
• Follow applicable Procedures and Work Instructions and offer ideas for improvement
• Support all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned
