We are seeking candidates for Quality Control Technician roles on the 1st and 2nd shifts. Compensation for this temp-to-hire opportunity is $20.00-$21.00 per hour. Interested? Learn more below!
Company Summary
This company is one of the largest U.S. suppliers of custom-milled ingredients, including grains and pulses in flake, flour, cracked, and cut formats. They supply a comprehensive line of custom blends, ranging from multi-grain blends for snack foods to functional mixes for cakes to bases for bread.
What a Quality Control Technician will do:
- Responsible for collecting and performing tests on raw material, in-process, and finished product samples
- Generate documentation and inspection of materials to satisfy product shipments
- Visual inspections of incoming ingredients and outgoing shipments and packaging
- Serve as an alternate to all DSM QC Technicians
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office
- Experience in a food manufacturing facility, preferred
- Knowledge of quality control or relevant laboratory experience, preferred
- Awareness of Food Safety, SQF, or HACCP training, preferred but not required
