Quality Control Inspector Night Shift
Job Description
Collects samples from production and/or inventory and inspects dimensionally and visually for conformance to established procedures
Conducts daily checks of the robot line's sensors, cameras, and tapping machines, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently
Coordinate with the Senior Technician and senior Robot Line Technician(s) to make necessary adjustments on production machinery or tooling to ensure parts are being produced within the established specifications
Assesses initial set up parts and final production parts to determine acceptability to produce or the need of appropriate corrective action
Assists in the Quality Assurance training of team members to ensure that customer's quality requirements are met and that company policies and procedures are followed, maintaining the records of said training
Performs 100% inspections of new tooling parts in accordance to the production part approval process (PPAP)
Assists in the creation/completion of PPAP in accordance with established quality procedures
Assists in the completion of After-Action Reviews (AAR), making recommendations for corrective actions as needed
Other Duties
Maintains a clean and orderly work area, this includes all machines and equipment
Assumes the duties of the Quality Assurance Inspector in their absence
