Job Description


Overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager, (QA) is responsible for inspecting all buildings to ensure ServiceMaster personnel are effectively cleaning their assigned accounts. The QA Manager is to inspect the cleanliness and investigate all complaints regarding ineffective cleaning or customer complaints. QA Manager will assist the housekeeper and the Division Manager in achieving customer satisfaction within the account.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

\xc2\xb7 Perform regular inspections of customer accounts to ensure that the cleaning crew is performing cleaning procedures according to the building task list.

\xc2\xb7 Identify areas for improvement in the cleaning of customer buildings.

\xc2\xb7 Recommend corrective actions that could improve the appearance and cleanliness of customer buildings.

\xc2\xb7 Perform follow-up inspections to ensure that corrective actions have been implemented.

\xc2\xb7 Correct deficiencies on site if possible.

  • Document the cleanliness of all areas inspected.
  • Develop a systematic approach to inspecting buildings that will enhance the cleaning of the building.
  • Record inspection results and notify the manager or the cleaning personnel of results and any corrective actions needed based on the findings of the inspection.
  • Notify the Division Manager or the building contact of any needed building repairs.
  • Notify the Division Manager of any needed repairs to cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with QA requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the building contact and building tenants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all Division Managers.
  • Maintain all inspection results on the electronic reporting system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of computers and QA software helpful.

\xc2\xb7 Possess a good command of the English language and the ability to communicate with building contacts, tenants, managers, and ServiceMaster employees required.
  • Must maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Must have leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to focus on details and be able to organize and prioritize your thoughts and your day.
  • Must be able to take initiative and work productively without continual supervision.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality with the contacts, tenants, and ServiceMaster employees is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, if needed.
  • Work experience as a Housekeeper and/or facility inspector is recommended.
  • An understanding of the use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and other cleaning products is required.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Stamina to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have a valid and current Mississippi Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
  • Must be able to pass a MVR.
