We are currently seeking a QA/QC Technician in Albuquerque, NM!
The QA/QC Technician is responsible for inspecting and ensuring Meraki Installers LLC services are meeting established standards and meet or exceed all jurisdiction requirements. Technician\xe2\x80\x99s primary focus will be to maintain the efficiency and profitability of Meraki Installers LLC by ensuring quality service. They must inspect our product/work to ensure the Meraki Installers LLC standard is being maintained at all times. Coordinate data with the Training and Safety managers to ensure findings are being incorporated into our training program for both technical and safety. Essential Functions Employees in the Solar QA/QC Technician position should expect to:
Implements and utilizes companies\xe2\x80\x99 safety management system, quality control program and company policies and procedures in conjunction with Installer manager.
Review past failed inspections and verify that the install meets or exceeds all jurisdiction requirements.
Perform /monitor projects\xe2\x80\x99 quality related activities.
Record/report and train team members on anything that does not meet Meraki Installers LLC company standards, including process, products, materials, and equipment used by Meraki Installers LLC employees.
Observe maintenance procedures to ensure that customer specifications are being met.
Discuss results and findings with management, and recommend any required corrective actions.
Ensure that the customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations are met and or exceeded.
Able to interpret schematics and other drawings that detail solar specifications.
Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure and time constraints.
Traveling to projects as needed to inspect and ensure Meraki Installers LLC quality is being met.
Provide feedback to the Management Team for future training and safety meetings.
Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site Install manager.
Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer\xe2\x80\x99s representatives.
Coordinate all receipt inspections and distribute relevant documentation to project clients.
Ensure all documentation is sent and stored properly upon the completion of the inspections.
Out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications: **Must have an ER1J or an EE98J**
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions (heat and cold)
Ability to work on rooftops (flat, angled, and sloped), crawl spaces, and attics
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout shift
Experience using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
Experience in roofing and/or general construction, preferred
Electrical experience is required
Working knowledge of the NEC
Experience in solar panel installation, preferred
Experience reading & interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
Perform site inspections to ensure projects pass jurisdiction inspections
Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient computer skills
