Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 10:30am-9:00pm Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

In this role, you will help ensure our materials, processes, and finished goods meet the highest standards-protecting both our customers and our reputation for quality.


What You'll Do:


As a QA Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our production process running smoothly and safely. Each day, you will examine, measure, and test materials used to create and package our products, ensuring everything aligns with customer expectations. You'll collect and test samples, perform basic bacteriological and appearance checks, and conduct organoleptic evaluations. You'll also walk the production floor to monitor compliance with cGMP guidelines, support our team by spotting issues before they become problems, and help maintain accurate, detailed inspection records. Your work directly supports food safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.


Essential Job Functions:


Stand for entire shift.


Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds as required.


Walk, bend, twist, kneel, and use of hands and fingers on a regular basis.



Duties and Responsibilities:


Maintain NPC quality standards.


Practice and enforce GMP's, including the dress code.


Practice safety policies


Examine measure and test materials used to create and package products.


Interpret certificate of analysis / conformance and other test records.


Collection of samples for bacteriological and chemical laboratory analysis.


Conduct organoleptic and appearance tests on finished goods.


Monitoring and evaluating the work of the production staff.


Conduct effective in-process inspections.


Preparing inspection reports and documenting / maintaining detailed records.


Responsible for reporting food safety issues to management and/or Quality Assurance.


Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications and Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent.


Strong work history. Previous employment in a food-related industry is helpful.


Self-motivated.


Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.


Able to organize, prioritize and complete a variety of duties daily.


Basic knowledge and skills in operation of a computer.


Reading, interpreting and applying codes and regulations (customer specific, cGMP and FDA).


Be able to initiate and use independent judgment within established guidelines.


Communicate and act effectively with co-workers, supervisors and employees from other departments.


Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Clear communication and teamwork are key, as you'll interact with production staff, supervisors, and quality leadership daily.
