Job Description
The Ferraro Group, a public relations and public affairs firm, is seeking either a part-time or full-time PR specialist for its Reno office. Responsibilities include:
- PR client management and servicing
- Developing and implementing PR strategy plans
- Writing press materials and other content
- Cultivating local, regional and national media/influencer relationships
- Occasional event planning
- Social media expertise
Requirements
Skills and experience required are:
- Strong writing skills for PR materials, plans and strategy documents
- Shaping and pitching story ideas; possessing strong media relations skills
- Writing and distributing local, regional and national press releases, media advisories and thought leadership articles
- Developing and coordinating occasional digital and social media content for clients
- Developing creative PR campaigns and communications strategies for clients
- Holding and leading client meetings
