We are looking for a detail-orientated, results-driven Provisioning Specialist who can adapt quickly and is committed to excellence. The Provisioning Specialist is responsible for accurately activating, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications services such as voice, data, internet, and video. This position ensures timely and precise service delivery while adhering to company policies and industry standards. The Provisioning Specialist works collaboratively with customer service, sales, outside plant technicians, IT, central office, and engineering teams to support excellent customer experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Process service orders, trouble tickets, and work orders to activate and modify customer services.
Perform provisioning and configuration of broadband, VoIP, video, and related telecommunications services.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
Assist with circuit provisioning, port assignments, number assignments, and associated departmental tasks.
Communicate customer concerns and outages to the appropriate department; create trouble tickets and dispatch them when necessary.
Document all provisioning activities in internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Maintain and update databases, including porting data, trading partner agreements, and number assignments.
Assist in maintaining and following departmental standard operating procedures.
Identify workflow inefficiencies or data discrepancies and report them to leadership for review or correction.
Support compliance and reporting activities for various regulatory requirements.
Fully understand, communicate, and support company products, services, and policies.
Participate in training to stay current with evolving provisioning platforms, technology, and industry standards.
Demonstrate strong collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail to meet departmental goals.

o Provisioning platforms such as Meta Switch, Calix, Ubiquity, Broadworks, or comparable systems.
o Voice, data, VoIP, streaming TV, and broadband provisioning processes.
o GIS and mapping tools for service availability verification.
o NISC application suite of software.
o Telecommunications terminology and record-keeping practices.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and various other office tools.
Customer service experience is highly preferred.
Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

A valid Class D Motor Vehicle License Required.
