Prototype Builder



Description:

Assemble and build wire harnesses for a variety of different industries by following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions in order to efficiently meet the build requirements and timeline of prototype wire harness assemblies.





Responsibilities:



Follow customer documentation to assemble prototype wire harnesses Route specific wires to specific locations as called for on the blue prints, wiring diagrams, detailed work instructions, and other customer documentation Maintain strong communication between Team Leads, Production Supervisors, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Scheduling to communicate progress of assembly Communicate issues that may prevent the successful completion of planned work in an effective and timely manner Communicate with customers when running into design issues Help carryout decisions that are associated with overall goals and objectives as stated in our company policies and as directed by Management Assist in ensuring proper quality work is being performed and is in line with company Quality Policies Work necessary hours to meet production requirements and customer timelines for prototype assembly. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:



Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, production supervisors, scheduling and sales Ability to read blueprints Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time Basic math and computer skills Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve * Operate with a sense of requirements
