LC-MS-based proteomics
and play a key role in developing and optimizing workflows using advanced
high-resolution mass spectrometry
. This role involves hands-on method development, sample preparation from complex biological matrices, and advanced bioinformatics-driven data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and implement
proteomics workflows
for sample preparation and mass spectrometry analysis.
Apply advanced
quantitative proteomics techniques
(TMT, DIA, label-free) for in-depth protein profiling.
Operate and maintain
high-resolution mass spectrometry instruments
(Orbitraps, timsTOF).
Perform
bioinformatics-driven data analysis
, including database searching, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to design experiments and advance research objectives.
Maintain accurate, detailed records in an
Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
.
Participate in regular project meetings, contributing expertise and scientific insights.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
PhD
in a relevant scientific discipline (preferred), or
M.Sc. + 5+ years
of documented experience in proteomics and mass spectrometry.
Required Technical Skills:
Expertise in
mass-spectrometry-based proteomics
(TMT, DIA, label-free quantification).
Proven experience with
high-resolution MS instruments
(Orbitraps, timsTOF).
Strong background in
protein sample preparation
, including affinity purification and universal protein extraction.
Proficiency with
bioinformatics tools
for proteomics data processing, statistics, and visualization.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
membrane protein or cell surface proteomics
.
Hands-on knowledge of
cell culture techniques
and
cell-based assays
.
Familiarity with handling
biohazardous or NHP (non-human primate) samples
.
Work Environment & Requirements
Onsite role, laboratory-based with daily interaction across cross-functional teams.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, and stair use as appropriate for lab work.
