About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on

Property Manager / Maintenance Manager

to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping properties well-maintained. The right candidate will have both strong people skills and the ability to handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to: Minor plumbing and electrical repairs Painting and drywall patching Door, lock, and window repairs Appliance troubleshooting and light installations Conduct routine property inspections to ensure units and common areas are safe, clean, and in good condition. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. Track and report maintenance requests, completed work, and property condition updates. Support leasing activities by assisting with unit turnover, move-in/move-out inspections, and preparation of vacant units. Ensure compliance with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable local housing regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in property management, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with tenants, owners, and contractors. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and respond quickly to urgent situations. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on repair work.
