Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team. The Property Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of our residential properties to identify any issues or needed repairs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen eye for detail. Compensation:

• Hourly rate $20.00 to $27.00
• Holiday and Sick pay

• Company vehicle provided (MUST HAVE CLEAN DMV)

Responsibilities include:

• Completion of general maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Conduct inspections of residential properties
• Identify and document any issues or needed repairs
• Provide clear and concise reports to maintenance manager
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
• Follow up on any recommended repairs or maintenance
• Communicate effectively with property managers, and team members
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulationsWorking knowledge of plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, woodwork, floor, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools & spas, general labor, and life-safety equipment.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Assists in property turnover completion, including remodeling units.
• Accurately records work activities performed.
• Clean worksite after job completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in property inspection or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent observation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and navigate uneven terrain
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and Handyman repairs.
• Ability to follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must have a valid and clean driver\'s license

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to sit, bend, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather.
• Must be able to navigate uneven terrain.
