The Project/Process Manager (Engineering) is responsible for the design, development and execution of strategic initiatives, as well as the tactical deployment of manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities for the analysis, evaluation, solution development, build, and testing of complex applications
Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures
Function as technical experts throughout the full project lifecycle and develop, maintain project plans, evaluate estimates against actual occurrences, and own the delivery
Analysis of business systems to determine effectiveness by identifying inadequacies, inefficiencies, and problems and recommending solutions
Responsible for managing the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles and quality processes
Ensure that quality methods and procedures are executed, and products, applications, and systems are in compliance
Manage and facilitate internal and external customer interactions throughout the Project Development Life Cycle
Share your expertise and help train other employees as assigned
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Skills and Certifications
Excellent planning, scoping, scheduling, and delivery skills
Manufacturing management experience and/or Project management experience
Ability to execute capital projects by managing groups of employees, equipment manufacturers, and other suppliers both remotely and onsite
Experience in onsite/offshore coordination is required
Proven ability to develop relationships by networking within and outside the company to provide rapid responses to manufacturing needs
Experience in finding solutions to business needs through research and teamwork with fellow team members and suppliers
Budget responsibilities for projects
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in onsite/offshore coordination is required

Education
Minimum - 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a degree related to Manufacturing Management is preferred.
10% - Possible travel to R.R. Donnelley Corporate and other facilities (domestic and overseas). The frequency for travel percentage is subject to change depending on business needs.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $98,100 to $156,900 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
