Job Description


General/Administrative:

  • Greet visitors that come into the office and assist with phone calls while the AVC is away
  • Schedule meetings for the AVC
  • Research best practices and policies for all four units
  • Keep manuals up-to-date and prepare on-boarding material
  • Prepare quarterly newsletter
  • Exercise leadership in creating and/or implementing team engagement initiatives
  • Oversee student worker for the office
  • Prepare for team meetings
Floater Functionality:
  • Participate in cross-training with each unit to learn each role
  • Be available to give campus tours, assist with events for set-up and roles during, assist with processing during regular working days
  • Be the person that fills in for individuals when they are out for extended periods of time or the position is vacant. This could be document processing, making decisions on applications, traveling for recruitment, planning events, advising students, giving campus presentations, and/or working front desks
Project Management and Reports:
  • Prepare weekly projection reports and performance reports for the functions of International Programs and for Recruitment
  • Assist in collecting data for reports being created by Directors
  • Act in a project manager capacity, working with others, creating a plan with actionable items and deadlines to follow a project to completion
  • Other duties as assigned
