What You Will Do In Your Role

• Communicate with Tech Services, Process Operations, Quality Department, and the Turnaround Management Team to determine a defined scope of work for each turnaround.
• Utilize planning software to create job steps for scope of work with safety and efficiently as priority to establish an accurate plan/schedule for turnaround execution.
• Verify and create bill of materials for equipment / materials needed for execution. Follow up to ensure materials are on site prior to execution.
• Work with the Turnaround Management Team to establish Logistic plans and Safety plans.
• Assist with coordination of the scope of work during execution.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 5 years or more of industrial project planning in a turnaround and construction environment
• Experience with turnaround / construction work package development, utilizing planning software and creating job step outs, creating bill of materials and the understanding of planning practices from the conception phase through execution.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints and utilize them to identify industrial process constructability.

What Will Put You Ahead

• 10 years or more of turnaround planning experience to gather required information, define scope of work and communicate between engineers, operations, site turnaround management and other on-site contractors.
• Basic Plus Orientation
  

*The job will primarily be on or around construction/turnaround sites in petrochemical operational units and include possible hazardous environments. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, irritants, and smoke may occur. Special Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary to control some hazardous environments. Safety requirements must be verified and meet standards set forth by client permits, policies and procedures, and be performed in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws or ordinances before work activities can begin.*
