Job Description

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Survey Department in Wall, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Manage survey projects from initiation through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Coordinate and oversee survey crews in the field, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys. Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and work plans. Review and deliver survey data, maps, and reports to internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local survey regulations and professional standards. Collaborate with internal engineering teams (civil, structural, environmental) to support multi-disciplinary project needs. Maintain strong client relationships, providing technical guidance and updates throughout project lifecycle. Mentor and provide leadership to survey staff, promoting professional development and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred or in progress. 5+ years of experience managing surveying projects. Proficiency with survey instruments, GPS, total stations, and CAD/GIS software. Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and client management abilities.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
