Vox Nutrition is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-focused Label Design Project Manager -- internally referred to as the "Shepherd" -- who will guide customer label projects from initial concept through compliance review, approval, and final print readiness. This is a critical customer-facing role that directly impacts client satisfaction, overall workflow efficiency, and the quality of our private label and custom-manufactured products.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dietary supplement labeling requirements, a keen eye for design accuracy, and the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously. This position requires consistent coordination between customers and multiple internal departments, ensuring all label artwork meets regulatory standards and moves seamlessly through the Vox workflow.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Workflow Management
Serve as the primary liaison between customers, the Vox label design team, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, QA, and Production.
Manage all label projects in Monday.com, ensuring accurate tracking, deadlines, updates, and communication.
Maintain a fully organized "Label Hub," including project categorization, prioritization, and documentation control.

Label Review & Compliance
Review label submissions, revisions, artwork files, and customer-provided information with high attention to detail.
Maintain proper version control and file naming conventions.
Verify that all artwork adheres to dietary supplement labeling standards, including:
FDA-compliant Supplement Facts formatting per 21 CFR Part 111 and 101
Correct RDI values for vitamins and minerals
Proper ingredient order and serving size accuracy
Allergen statements, required disclaimers, and marketing claim compliance
Net weight, manufacturing/distribution statements, and other mandatory elements
Barcode/UPC/FNSKU placement and scannability
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with QA and Production to ensure labels are approved, compliant, and print-ready ahead of production timelines.
Identify potential bottlenecks early and proactively resolve missing information or discrepancies.
Provide timely, clear, and professional communication to internal teams and customer accounts.
Documentation & Technical Understanding
Review and interpret supporting raw material documentation such as COAs, product specification sheets, nutritional statements, trademark ingredient documents, and allergen certificates.
Understand how raw material data contributes to Supplement Facts Panel creation.
Utilize or support the use of third-party software to build Supplement Facts Panels when applicable.
Requirements
2+ years of project management or account coordination experience (labeling, printing, creative, or supplement industry strongly preferred).
Strong working knowledge of dietary supplement labeling standards and basic FDA labeling guidelines (21 CFR).
Comfortable reviewing COAs, spec sheets, nutritional statements, and other raw material documentation.
Experience in project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar.
Proficiency with file formats used for print production (AI, PDF, EPS).
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills -- ability to manage a large volume of simultaneous projects.
High attention to detail and strong comfort reviewing materials for compliance and accuracy.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or contract manufacturing industry.
Background supporting the creation of Supplement Facts Panels or experience using Supplement Facts software/tools.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and/or Creative Suite for viewing and evaluating artwork.
Understanding of printing processes, label materials, finish options, and dieline setup.
Experience communicating directly with customers on artwork revisions or compliance-related requirements.
Account management experience is highly valued, as this role will regularly overlap with account management responsibilities for key customer accounts and requires thoughtful, relationship-driven communication.
ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite, PLEX, or similar).
Strong Excel proficiency.
