Job Title: Project Engineer - Mechanical

Location: Lancaster, PA (100% Onsite)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Eligible

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Provide engineering services to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan by providing engineering support to production, maintenance and administrative departments to achieve plant goals. Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations and related bid meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project close-out. Assist production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective, particularly in the incumbent's specialized technical field of expertise. Participate in the annual development of the plant's three year budget process through scope development, solicitation for quotes and generation of the related project description and budget cost. Develop a core cross-functional project team, generate detailed project specifications & Scope of Work in order to solicit all project cost estimates, generate detailed project progress schedule, prepare and submit for approval funding request (RFA). Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You have: (required)

BS In Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university 5 years of experience in project engineering

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing 8 years of experience in project management Possess a reasonable understanding of environmental control technology and production process with potential to impact the environment. Experience in metals industry
