: The Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination and development of the PACT Coalition Program, including to:
Attend all PACT Coalition meetings
Work with the Executive Director, and Coalition members to implement a Comprehensive Coalition Prevention Plan.
Coordinate or oversee workshops, trainings, conferences, and other coalition activities, particularly focused on prevention and other PACT Coalition priorities.
Implementation of grant deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical writing for grant reporting and community dissemination
Coordinate community partner program and grant deliverables.
Coordinate contracts and subgrants and oversee grant deliverables including reports and activities.
Provide leadership in developing effective community-wide development programming.
Participate in local, regional, and statewide planning and coordination Meetings.
Promote, develop, and implement culturally competent, science-based alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention practices.
Work to support PACT's mission and promote coalition strategies across Clark County and ultimately the State of Nevada.
Coordinate with diverse groups in a coalition setting.
Become Certified Prevention Specialist within 1 year of hire

Qualifications:
Degree in human services, public health, social work, public administration, or related field plus two years' experience, or commensurate combination of education and experience. Experience in substance abuse prevention, community organizing, adolescent health, youth development, coalition building, and program development, management, and evaluation. Familiarity with science-based prevention programming. Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate and collaborate with cross-sector community coalitions. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Bilingual and bicultural preferred. The Coordinator must be available for evening and weekend work as needed. Must have access to reliable transportation.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, some evenings and weekends required. Some travel in and out of state.
Employment is contingent upon grant funding, successful completion of background check and drug test.
