PROJECT & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR The Generations Bank Project & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for The Project & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for delivering complete solutions or managing significant components of larger, more complex projects from planning to implementation according to strict quality standards, deadlines, and within budget. The Project & Compliance Coordinator will work cooperatively in a dynamic environment, coordinating the efforts of team members and venders to deliver projects according to plan and budget. The Project & Compliance Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the bank\'s compliance with government laws and regulations. This includes coordinating with company management to identify potential risks, implementing policies and procedures to uphold laws and regulations and monitoring the company\'s adherence to those policies and procedures.

What Does a Project & Compliance Coordinator Do?
The specific duties/responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT Develops project plans, manages resources, the project schedule and budget to meet deliverables. Maintains all reporting requirements as needed.
  • Participates in the development of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • Establishes project scope with business representatives and/or Business Analysts.
  • Leads accountability of stakeholders by executing completion of projects within targeted deadlines.
  • Ensures completion of feasibility, risk, regulatory compliance, and ROI analyses and business benefits for proposed projects. Presents a recommendation related to project feasibility and resource requirements.
LEADERSHIP
  • Actively manages the execution of the project, including assigning work to project staff, managing project scope and project finances, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT/PROBLEM SOLVING
  • Ensures the development and execution of organizational change management plan to support the effective implementation of the project.
  • Manages changes to project scope, schedule and budget using appropriate validation techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes. Facilitates client acceptance of changes and their impact.
STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP
  • Ensures appropriate involvement of Bank, other internal stakeholders, and external resources according to organizational policy, such as Compliance, Information Security, and Operations.
  • Interfaces with team members and management to manage expectations, provide status updates on project and discuss concerns. Is accountable for ensuring resolution of concerns/issues.
PROJECT EVALUATION
  • Formalizes final acceptance and closure for the project based on satisfactory achievement of outcomes from the sponsor/client.
  • Leads feedback sessions such as post-mortems and/or retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and improve the management of future projects.
COMPLIANCE
  • Understands and complies with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
  • Participates in cross functional risk management initiatives and projects that impact multiple risk disciplines and/or business units in accordance with the Bank\'s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program to ensure full compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Monitors and reports on significant operational risk and control issues, including, but not limited to, capital, liquidity, market, credit, regulatory compliance, technology, fraud, and strategic, affecting the enterprise and assists in the development of effective action plans.
  • Oversees assigned regulatory change management initiatives coordinating with the compliance officer and ensures the adequacy of internal controls and assists branches and departments to meet requirements of Bank policy, FDIC, Federal Reserve, FFIEC, OCC, and other regulatory agencies by providing compliance and audit information.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations, and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of an internal operational risk loss event database and front end for entering data.
GOOD PRACTICES
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of banking laws, rules, and regulations by reading various publications and circulars; attends seminars and meetings with peers.
  • Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one\'s own actions and conduct.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The work schedule is M-F, standard business hours, working onsite at our Rogers Corporate Headquarters.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The Project & Compliance Coordinator has no supervisory responsibilities.

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all the following: telephone, smart phone, copy and fax machines, adding machine, scanner and image systems, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer, tablet, printers, or other equipment as directed.
