Position Overview: Under supervision of the Superintendent, oversees in-house treatment programs which provides substance use treatment, assessment, case management and other supportive services to inmates experiencing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) as well as co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Oversee programs staff to ensure all job duties are adhered to and carried out. Plans, organizes, implements, and interprets program, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures that are necessary for providing effective evidence-based offender substance use disorder (SUD), as well as co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Responsible for managing and coordinating inmates in accessing services along with Case Management. Implement and enforce the management philosophy of the organization as directed by the Superintendent. Responsible for developing, conducting, and/or coordinating individual and group programs, including but not limited to counseling, group therapy, substance abuse, education, religious, and recreational programs and ensure documentation of attendance of each participant at each program. Oversees and monitors educational services to offenders entitled to services though the Department of Education; maintain statistical information regarding these offenders for submission to the Department of Education. Must be able to provide documentation requested by attorneys and inmates regarding inmate program participation and provide monthly programs report and statistics to the Superintendent. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Duties require knowledge equivalent to a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in social work, counseling, human services, psychology or related field and 3-5 years of related experience. \xc2\xb7 MLADC, LADC, LCMHC or LICSW preferred, but not required. \xc2\xb7 Requires the ability to plan and perform diversified duties requiring an extensive knowledge of a particular field and the use of a wide range of procedures, involving the exercise of judgement in the analysis of facts and conditions regarding individual problems or transactions to determine what actions should be taken within the limits of standard practice. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of the availability and use of community resources.
