Description Is candidate Able to work remotely, but have availability for hybrid work depending on the needs of the State; candidate local to Columbus, Ohio area preferred Description: Project Manager/Product Owner (PM4) \xe2\x80\x93 DOLC PM4 Requirement Description: Requirement Description The primary responsibility of the Project Manager/Product Owner is to lead the delivery and implementation of a software application, coordinating the project activities with diverse groups, including business users, external users, project stakeholders, and external vendors. The Project Manager must have a Product Owner mindset to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements. The Project Manager/Product Owner must have extensive experience in successfully executing on large-scale application development initiatives. As a highly effective lead, the Project Manager is a strategic business partner, is fully vested in the project success, can work with ambiguity, and respects and motivates stakeholders and team members. Main responsibilities: 1. Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities over the complete lifecycle of the project, including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of the business solutions designed to meet requirements of the business users and stakeholders. 2. Coordinates the project plan to define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel. 3. Develop estimates for enhancement or new development efforts in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. 4. Identify, manage, and report program risk, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Responsibilities Provide accountability for the entire project scope, resources, and success or failure of the project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Organize, manage, and direct project team tasks and assure the proper application of project management standards, tools, and methodologies in project work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, customer representatives and vendor software / hardware suppliers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead business analysts assigned to the project, direct their efforts, and assist in resolving issues with the business or internal team members. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work collaboratively with an internal team of developers/SMEs, business analysts, and business stakeholders to effectively transform business requirements into traceable and testable user stories. \xe2\x80\xa2 Continuously monitor and control the project work and manage change through an effective change control process. Identify risk that may affect the project scope or timeline and develop effective mitigation plans. Mandatory Requirements/Time \xe2\x80\xa2 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager or Product Owner, including using project management and agile development tools \xe2\x80\xa2 4 plus years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with full lifecycle implementation projects from requirements definition through implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Documented experience in vendor management and the implementation of third-party applications \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated leadership ability in leading teams of stakeholders, business analysts, developers, etc. Desired Skills/Time \xe2\x80\xa2 Current PMP, CSPO, PSPO, IIBA, PBA certification or similar \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with public agencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work remotely, but have availability for hybrid work depending on the needs of the State; candidate local to Columbus, Ohio area preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 College degree or equivalent technical study Job Type: Contract Salary: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour Experience level:
