Apple Grove is a mission-driven provider of residential and community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We offer a wide range of supports--from 24/7 group homes to community integration and employment readiness through our Job & Day Training Program. We are looking for a strategic, experienced Program Manager to oversee these critical services and ensure our programs run with excellence and heart.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Director to maintain operations of all Apple Grove programs. Attend PCP and team meetings to include quarterly, annually and as deemed necessary. Provides constructive feedback, direction, and motivation to assigned staff, contractors, and direct treatment providers. Ensure assigned case managers and contractors complete all assigned duties and maintain adequate and timely records. Participate in placement activities, including following up with county placement workers and case workers, to identify appropriate clients for agency homes. Ensure that staff document services are provided to clients appropriately and in a timely manner. Attend and participate in County/State meetings and represent Apple Grove in a professional manner, as assigned. Develop and maintain effective working relationships between Desert Regional Center staff, law enforcement officials, judicial officials, legal resources, medical professionals and other community resources. Attend and/or facilitate training and meetings as necessary. Provide crisis intervention and participate in the on-call emergency support rotation. Assist with coverage (home visits, monitoring and assistance of homes) when house managers are out for vacation, sick days, etc. Serve as liaison between clients and community agencies: assist with referrals to appropriate community resources; work cooperatively with other provider agencies to support each individual. Prepare and maintain department reports as assigned. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Oversee Shared Living Recruitment and check in with FDS on progress Placements of individuals in the various programs in a timely manner.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Education:

Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:

leadership experience in the IDD field: 5 years (Required) o Strong background in residential (group home) management: 2 years (Required) community-based supports, or day programs: 2 years (Required) knowledge of state IDD regulations, person-centered planning: 2 years (Required) Desert Regional Center: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
