The Program Manager will support cross-functional project teams in the successful delivery of new product developments, product improvements, and sustainment engineering initiatives within a regulated environment. This individual will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the project lifecyclefrom initiation to closureensuring documentation and processes align with strategic business objectives, regulatory standards, and established scope, schedule, and budget.



This is a full-time in-office position in Hood River, Oregon. This role is not remote eligible.

Essential Job Functions

Support the project team in the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of technical projects using an Integrated Project Plan (IPP) framework.
Assist in the development, management, and reporting of project scope, cost, and schedule, leveraging familiarity with Agile and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
Create and maintain project artifacts, including Project Charters, Product Backlogs, Burndown Charts, and other documentation in alignment with Agile methodology.
Maintain accurate product development records to support configuration management and baseline controls (functional, allocated, product).
Assist in managing material and direct cost budgets; initiate and track purchase requisitions aligned with financial forecasts.
Track and help resolve minor resource conflicts by maintaining an accurate Project Resource Assignment Matrix.
Support sustainment engineering projects by processing change requests and coordinating production support activities, and internal training coordination.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the application of industry best practices in project documentation and control.
Promote strategic relationships within departments to facilitate smooth project execution.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (Software Engineering preferred).
2+ years of experience in technical project technical project coordination, Project Analyst, or Junior Project Management, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry. Experience or strong coursework/certification Agile methodologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

Strong organizational skills and developing leadership abilities.
Practical experience in applying Agile values and principles.
Familiarity with relative sizing and estimating techniques.
Proven ability to support cross-functional technical teams through the product life cycle.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, maintain, and help interpret project schedules and budgets.
Hands-on experience with project management and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, JAMA) preferred.
Skilled in basic data analysis, planning, and decision-making support.
Ability to assist in identifying and documenting project risks.
Strong customer focus and willingness to support stakeholder communication.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
