Program Overview

The Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program consists of a portfolio of work from current and historical notifications to repair or replace transmission line assets across the system.\xc3\x82 With an annual budget approaching $600M, this work is critical in improving the safety of our customers and the communities where they live.\xc3\x82 Notifications are created from annual and ad-hoc inspections.\xc3\x82 Work is prioritized based on location and ignition risk.

Position Summary

Assists in managing aspects of the Transmission Line Wildfire Mitigation Program (WMP). \xc3\x82 This includes assisting, training, and mentoring program managers with their responsibilities to obtain the environmental release-to-construction (ERTC), all required permits (i.e. Caltrans), Landing Zones, Laydown Yards, and job drawings.\xc3\x82 Works closely with the overall WMP Manager and Supervisors from other departments to ensure processes are improving and meeting the needs of stakeholders.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Good written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate meetings and forge partnerships with multiple stakeholders.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office, and your assigned location based on business need. Headquarter location is flexible.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.\xc3\x82

  • Minimum Base Salary (California)\xc3\x82 $112,000.00
  • Maximum Base Salary (California)\xc3\x82 $179,000.00

Job Responsibilities
  • Conducts business in a safe and ethical manner in accordance with company standard practices
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop an annual workplan
  • Assists, trains, and mentors WMP Program Managers and Project Control Analysts
  • Escalates items as needed to ensure resources are utilized wisely
  • Works with some guidance to complete assignments and solves complex problems
  • Communicates with peers, exchanging ideas and experiences

Qualifications

Minimum:
  • Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of related experience or equivalent

Desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (excel, power point)
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
