Role Qualifications
  • Customer Service/Communication Skills: Program/Project managers talk, listen, plan and help resolve conflicts with customers. An expert communicator will be able to listen effectively to find the root cause of issues and communicate clearly and in a friendly way solve the issue and keep the customer happy. If you are communicating over email or live chat, you will need to be able to write well, with correct grammar.
  • Proactive: Managers in this position anticipate issues with products or services involved with their area of involvement and take actions to mitigate problems before they arise or cause major issues.
  • Patience: Program/Project managers service managers might have to deal with confused or irate customers. Having patience will help you stay polite, even in stressful situations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You will have to solve customer issues, sometimes without seeing the actual problem firsthand. Being able to problem solve with a customer will help your job.
Position Summary Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service and overall project administration for IPS Group, Inc. customer or group of customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Service Department. Often this role will also indirectly utilize the personnel of the customer to affect the objectives of the project. Role can also act as Project Implementation Manager for all new product deployments in these same customers or others as assigned. Position Responsibilities
  • Act as the Project/ Program Manager for a major client, many new clients or existing clients, including coordination of training, support, on-site installation or support staff, regular contact with clients in preparation for new deployments and post installation support and follow-up.
  • Provide initial and post-sale training and customer support activities within region.
  • Document and provide timely feedback to the company regarding customer concerns.
  • Partner with internal sales and field service staff to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Proactively analyze data and contact existing customers to ensure strong ongoing relationships and professional responsiveness to any customer needs.
  • Create sales quotes/orders and enter those into the work order system for manufacturing.
  • Manage Parts and Logistics issues for assigned clients out of the Seattle warehouse.
  • Administer Contract activities as needed including SLA\xe2\x80\x99s, Price Changes etc.
  • Interaction with IPS manufacturing to answer any questions related to new orders and warranty repairs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
