Overview


The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, and management of CMNTY Sports programs across all participating sites. This includes overseeing schedules, participants, staff, volunteers, and budgets to ensure smooth and high-quality program delivery. The Program Manager plays a key role in shaping youth development experiences that reflect CMNTY Sports' core values: Confidence, Communication, and Compassion for Others.

Duties



Develop and manage seasonal program calendars, game schedules, and events Coordinate across schools, coaches, and site partners to ensure consistent, timely delivery Oversee registration, parent communication, staff scheduling, and equipment needs Ensure all program operations stay within budget and meet safety standards Design programs that foster positive character development and inclusive participation Ensure that youth engagement strategies align with CMNTY's "3 C's" values (Confidence, Communication, Compassion) Supervise and support Program Coordinators and the Volunteer Coordinator Collaborate with the Athletic Director to align coaching and operational goals Lead staff trainings and regular check-ins to ensure quality and accountability Track and analyze attendance, participation rates, and program impact data Prepare reports to inform leadership, partners, and funders Use insights to improve programming and support future planning Oversee recruitment, placement, and training of volunteers Monitor and log volunteer hours Ensure volunteers are effectively integrated and recognized Provide leadership and support to the Volunteer Coordinator

Experience



Minimum of 2 years experience in program management, youth development, education, or nonprofit operations Proven ability to lead teams, manage staff, and supervise volunteers across multiple sites Experience developing and implementing sports or enrichment programs for school-age youth Familiarity with registration systems, data tracking, and scheduling tools Comfortable working with school administrators, families, and community partners Background in sports, coaching, recreation, or community-based youth work is a strong plus Experience collecting and analyzing program performance data and reports preferred Bilingual or multilingual ability (especially English/Spanish) is a bonus
