$20/hr plus an additional $25 bonus for each offsite school program.
Responsibilities
Teach students of various skill levels using our structured chess curriculum.
Travel throughout the metroplex to deliver engaging, age-appropriate chess lessons at local schools.
Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors while providing clear information about our programs.
Help set up, run, and support chess tournaments, club events, and play nights.
Accurately maintain records of student registrations, attendance, and payments.
Assist with basic office tasks such as organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, and keeping workspaces tidy.
Facilitate chess-related activities and provide supervision during camps at our designated locations.
Qualifications
Experience working with school-aged children is a plus!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong interpersonal skills!
Knowledge of chess is helpful but not required -- training is provided.
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certifications are a bonus!
