We are seeking a strong Program Analyst to help support a USDA contract. The candidate help support the loan and grant process for the division Rural Utilities Services within USDA RD.

Location: Remote (ability to travel if necessary)

Clearance: Must be able to pass a government issued background check

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial reporting of loans and grants for Rural Utilities Services.
  • Develop, write, submit, coordinate respective reports.
  • Maintain document management.
  • Confer with Government personnel to establish an implementation schedule to process grant proposals in all disciplines to procure external funding.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, application, and acceptance process of local, state, and federal public funding grants and cooperative agreements.
  • Provide loan and grant conformity with laws, stipulations, regulations governing contracts, grant monitoring, programs, and financial reporting.
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, business administration or equivalent. Work experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Have government program management experience related to processing and issuing grants and/or loans for federal agencies.
  • Experience working with Tribal entities or Tribally affiliated and other similarly unique applicants.
  • Attention to detail; strong analytical skills.
  • Problem solving skills; ability to develop and present solutions or alternative practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with all levels of professionals.
  • Effective communication skills; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience supporting USDA and/or rural development.
  • Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Be able to travel if necessary.
