Description:

Remington Medical, a growing medical device company located in Alpharetta, Georgia, has an immediate opening for a skilled Production Water Spider. The Production Water Spider role is a multi-functional position that supports all areas and aspects of the manufacturing floor, as well as specific issues, projects, or events occur. This job description will attempt to cover the main duties and responsibilities but is not totally inclusive of all tasks that will be required to be performed.

General Production

? Maintain quality of all components produced to meet or exceed customer specifications or expectations

? Perform tasks as outlined within organizations SOP\'s

? Actively participate in all company\'s safety initiatives and programs

? Complies with the Company\'s quality and safety rules and reports all incidents, issues and events to immediate supervision for corrective action

? Maintain housekeeping standards at all times

? Assists with training of personnel as required

? Provide input and feedback on production process improvement initiatives

? Troubleshoot process equipment and tools when there are problems

? Maintain equipment in proper working order

? Communicate problems as they arise to the production leadership

? Demonstrate Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as well as completion and review of BOM, DMR and other associated material

? Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection as required

? Store and dispose of chemicals appropriately

? Conduct basic quality inspection of work in accordance with SOP\'s

? Complete required production paperwork

? Demonstrated ability to integrate quality, safety and efficiency requirements into daily activities

? Assembles parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a workstation

? Utilizes hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment to perform assigned jobs

? Ensure machines operate within specified ranges in accordance with applicable work instructions, SOP\'s and customer requirements.

? Maintain RMI supplied tools needed to perform duties

? Work independently under the direction of Production Management

? May work closely with Engineering on product validations, studies, and new product development

Specific Assignments

• Perform daily molded parts counts and report to Production or Engineering (molding) management.
• Perform inspections of product specifications through various measurement or inspection techniques. This may require training in measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, rulers, or other measurement devices.
• Removing product bins at molding machines and replacing with empty bins that require product tags.
• Perform routine paperwork checks for workorders throughout the production floor to ensure accuracy and completeness by other operators.
• Weigh-counting and packaging of materials, components, or finished products.
• Review and approve workorder documentation, finalize DMRs including final reconciliations at various stages and final totals, and work with Quality team for resolution of issues or errors.
• Assist in Engineering or Production initiatives as identified by management.
• Fill in to perform production activities at various work areas as needed.
• Perform time studies as requested.

Requirements:

Requirements: * High school diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to read/hear, interpret and understand instructions given verbally or written in English
• Ability to perform in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment while complying with Quality System SOP\'s, work instructions, drawings, GMP, GDP, ISO and FDA requirements
• Previous manufacturing, production and injection molding experience
• Previous medical device or FDA regulated industry experience preferred
• Good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity
