Job Description

A Global Manufacturing Company located in Southwest Indiana is looking for a Production Supervisor to support their Production. The ideal candidate will have experience with continuous improvement, equipment maintenance, project management, and pre-launch planning.

Responsibilities Include:

Assist the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies

Develop Production Engineering level and policies

New equipment installation and process preparation

Responsible for leading the reduction of unplanned downtime for mass production

Ensure that production rates and machine cycle times meet company targets

Responsible for facility planning, procurement, and repair

Ensure plant and OSHA safety requirements are met

Defect and analysis reporting

Other Duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or Professional Certification in Engineering or related fields preferred.

Strong managerial skills required

Experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience preferred.

Able to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English

Able to work nights and weekends as requested.

Able to lift up to 30 lbs

This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
