Performs basic activities to assist in the safe operation and repair of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines.

Performs diversified soldering operation, including, but not limited to, torch and iron soldering. Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products. This involves a considerable number of parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors. Operate all equipment required to assemble a variety of products. Must be able to read blueprints, wire schematics, utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications. Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint etc. and perform packing and shipping duties. Perform potting and encapsulation operations. Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 yearsof hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately. Proficient in the safe and correct use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering Iron and power tools. Must clear background check and drug screening. Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance. completed ESD training and solder certification J-STD-001 is preferred.

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $42,057 - $44,824 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
