Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:


Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet customer demands and company goals. Monitor production processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures. Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize workflows, and reduce costs. Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability within the production department. Manage and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods to ensure continuous production. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to resolve production-related issues. Train, develop, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Lead regular production meetings to review performance metrics, address challenges, and plan future operations. Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all production equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed. Prepare reports and present updates on production performance to senior management. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


Directly manage production supervisors, team leads, and line staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations for production employees. Enforce workplace policies, safety protocols, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Education:


Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is required. Master's degree or additional certifications in operations management is preferred.

Experience:


Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the utility or water tank industry. At least 3 years of leadership experience managing production teams. Proven track record of improving production processes and achieving operational goals.

Certifications/Licenses:


Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certifications are highly desirable.
