General Summary: The Production Control Clerk is responsible for the compliant review of batch production records.

Schedule: This position will work Monday - Thursday from 2:45 pm - 12:45 am with overtime as business needs require.

Principal Duties & Responsibilites: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform an in-process and post production review of the Batch Production Record (BPR) and other production-related documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance with effective SOPs/SWs to ensure products are processed, packaged, and stored in a manner that meets customer, GMP, safety, and internal quality system requirements.
  • Frequency of the in-process review will be performed under the discretion of the Production Supervisor.
  • Manage and track accuracy of documentations.
  • Log Errors/Omissions found during the review of BPR\'s on the BPR Error Log and send report to required personnel on a weekly basis.
  • Report the First Pass BPR Accuracy Rating to required personnel on a weekly basis.
  • Review daily timesheets for accuracy.
  • Log downtime on the Downtime Tracker Log that is recorded on the timesheets for our Encapsulation, Packaging, and Blending work centers.
  • Facilitate the month-end Work Order Closing Process by running reports and tracking the progress of Work Order closings with employees across the organization.
  • Resolve discrepancies within the Batch Production Record and related documents to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, standardized work, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as well as provide training to employees on how to complete these records using GDP.
  • Track the Batch Production Records when issued for production.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in an effective manner with peers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a batch processing environment. GMP experience helpful.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective resolution of discrepancies within batch documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivating.
  • Interacts effectively with related Production, Quality and Materials departments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet targets and deadline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of Word & Excel. Ability to learn ERP system for production transactions.
