MistAway Systems is the leading manufacturer of automated misting systems for the control of mosquitoes and other insects. Our products are sold worldwide for use in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties. We do business with a global network of authorized dealers, commercial clients, and direct-to-consumer. We are a very customer-focused company with a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture. The Product Support Specialist will be a key part of the product team and will provide industry leading technical support. This role will have an immediate impact on the business with opportunities to grow into a larger role with experience. The ideal candidate will be a "people person" with a passion for helping customers solve their technical issues. The individual will start out as a primary point of contact for technical support calls and emails.

Responsibilities:



Technical Support



Respond to technical support inquiries and issues in a professional manner, primarily over the phone Effectively guide customers in troubleshooting issues Adjust guidance to match each customer's familiarity with MistAway products Provide product recommendations to suit customer needs Prioritize responses adapting to the urgency of customer issues Use MistAway's proprietary IoT application, iMistAway, to remotely troubleshoot technical issues

Process Management



Document technical support interactions for team analysis Track work orders and returns to meet best-in-class standards for support Add to the knowledge base for technical support of our products Follow or document standard procedures for product support

Core Competencies



Effective interpersonal skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure Comfortable working as part of a team Excellent verbal and written English Strong attention to detail Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to work hands-on with tools on mechanical assemblies Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Minimum Qualifications:



High School diploma or equivalent 5-years of work experience in an office or manufacturing environment Available for occasional travel to customer sites

Preferred Qualifications:



Associates degree or higher Bilingual in English and Spanish Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
