What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Get to Do:

Conduct cradle to grave purchasing requirements for Task Order/ customer requirements that include hardware, software, and services.

More About the Role:

-Serves as the liaison between the prime, suppliers, manufacturers, program control manager, CACI SSC procurement reps, CACI A/P, and other internal stakeholders.

-Conducts research to determine the best suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.

-Prepares detailed narrative to justify purchase including sole source documentation.

-Evaluates bids, selects, and recommends suppliers. Negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service.

-Responsible for purchasing a variety of complex or technical supplies or services.

-Prepares special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan.

-Develops purchasing packages with appropriate requests for proposal or quotes.

-Issue request for quotes for a variety of technical supplies and/or services.

-Construct order file to include all required documentation as well as making sure the file is compliant with internal quoting standards.

-Issue award via P-Card purchase or submitting PR in P2P

-Follow up on all awards until completion of materials, over shipments, cancellations, and any other changes to the order.

-Responsible for developing and maintaining vendor relationships.

-Audit files from the other procurement specialist in the group after completion of invoicing.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring These Qualifications:

-Intermediate or expert skill use of Microsoft Excel

-Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time

-Ability to obtain United States Security Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

-Top Secret clearance is preferred

-General awareness of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

-Familiarity with Information Technology and/or Satellite Equipment.

-Meticulous attention to detail

-Must be self-motivated

-Organizational skills

-Excellent verbal and written communication

-Understand and excel at working with different functional areas/groups in order to achieve goals

-Accomplish deliverables within set deadline

-Build working relationships with vendors

-Previous procurement, accounting, or logistics experience

-Multitasking

-Data Analysis

-Negotiate pricing

-Read statement of work

-Complete sole source justifications with help from requestors

-Provide vendor evaluations

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $43,900-$87,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
