Process Production Intern Or Co Op

Job Description
This role is exposed to a manufacturing environment where will work with multiple aspects of the production process including root cause analysis, process troubleshooting, and process optimization, while learning about safety, process operations, process chemistry, and meeting timelines. The assignments are consistent with company goals and involve all levels of staff in developing and implementing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Safety
- Learning & documenting processes
- Process optimization techniques
- Learn lab test methods & procedures
- Compile a presentation for completed projects and present to management
- Completion of sophomore college year in Chemical Engineering
- Microsoft Office
- Basic chemistry lab experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams
- Leadership
- Intern: 8-12 weeks
- Co-op: 1+ semesters
- Market competitive hourly rate
- Overtime eligible
- Paid observed holidays
Expectations:
- Prompt and regular attendance
- Comply with all site policy & training requirements
- Satisfactorily perform duties as assigned, in content and timing
- Participation in site Intern/Co-op events & activities
- Final presentation of Intern/Co-op activities & learnings.
