GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Process Owner E&F is responsible for leading the implementation of asset reliability, engineering, and equipment maintenance strategies, planning & budget processes. This role will partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to evolve the future strategy for the Engineering and Facilities processes across the network and will be responsible for leading the implementation of any changes. The Process Owner will set the strategy for corporate and field-based support. The Process Owner will provide engineering leadership with a focus on operational excellence to our distribution centers network. Strong cross-functional collaboration will be critical when partnering with Engineering Leadership, Procurement, DC & Supply Chain Operations. This role will also provide support for on-going continuous improvement projects as well as future strategic supply chain project initiatives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

  • Bring asset reliability best practices & preventive equipment strategies in relation to business processes and system capabilities for the Supply Chain / Retail Industry
  • Work cross functionally with a strong understanding of maintenance operations, MHE equipment, Engineering & Facilities management, and Supply Chain/Distribution
  • Interpret analytical models, conduct analysis with data trending to gain insights into business opportunities, propose solutions and quantify the improvements in Supply Chain metrics
  • Support configuration of CMMS systems to solve business needs; recommend optimized system parameter settings to accomplish efficient preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Provide process and analytical support for Ulta\xe2\x80\x99s forecasting, parts replenishment, and other business applications systems.
  • Perform asset, labor & part inventory data analysis for recommending Engineering and Facilities cost reduction strategies
  • Utilize Supply Chain CMMS systems to analyze optimal preventive maintenance, part order frequency, setting min/max thresholds & Inventory positioning strategies at all the DC/MFC/FFC locations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or applied sciences
  • 5-10 years of Process Owner experience in an industrial engineering, manufacturing, maintenance management, or Supply Chain environment
  • Responsible for supporting the execution of a reliability centered maintenance program with preventive asset reliability strategies & a focus on root cause analysis
  • Experience in multiple disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, field service, automation, & equipment maintenance best practices) is desired
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes: Forecasting, planning, inventory management, operations, manufacturing, procurement, sourcing, transportation, warehousing
  • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Maintenance and Facilities planning
  • Working knowledge of typical CMMS, ERP, SAP, or Supply Chain Planning applications systems and technical platform capabilities
  • Ability to proactively identify process and systems issues, develop alternative solutions and make recommendations for final resolution with site engineering leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct user interviews, facilitate user design sessions, perform data analysis, apply structured systems design, testing and
implementation methodology * Design experience includes writing functional and technical design specifications, developing process flow charts, drawing/schematic layouts
  • Ability to develop CMMS or database queries to manipulate and analyze large datasets for trends, anomalies, and inconsistencies
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to complete assigned tasks, requiring intervention only to resolve issues
  • Basic knowledge of MHE equipment life cycle
  • Experience with 3rd party projects, vendors, suppliers, and contracts
  • Ability to prepare and manage project budgets for capital and expense
  • Direct experience in a disciplined project/program management role
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined team environment and on individual assignments of varying degrees of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others in completing work assignments in accordance with defined program objectives and deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills. Willing and adaptable to fill in white spaces in the organization where it is exposed
  • Experience in working in a multi-site environment. Experience managing projects and teams where many of the resources will not be in the same site
  • Process Improvements. Demonstrated ability to measure, analyze and improve personal and organizational methods and processes
  • Change management skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams through changes in processes, methods, and tools
  • Excellent English language communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) are essential
  • Ability to work with senior leaders of the organization
