\xef\x81\xb1 Perform standard operations to inspect a variety of parts and materials for prescribed chemical treating and paint processes.

Typical Responsibilities

\xef\x81\xb1 Follow standard inspection procedures, specifications, drawings, written or oral instructions and general methods to check all parts and materials for adherence to specifications process requirements. \xef\x81\xb1

Inspect items after completion of shot peening, spot welding, chemical etching, photo etching, anodizing, alodining, plating, painting, aging, sand blasting and other processing operations and enter data into the Quality Automated Inspection Sampling (AIS) system, as required.

\xef\x81\xb1 Identify material and check for completion of processes, noting any deviations.

\xef\x81\xb1 Responsible for the review and disposition of all nonconforming material using the electronic NMRR database.

\xef\x81\xb1 Check and record times and temperatures of furnaces, ovens and chemical baths.

\xef\x81\xb1 Take samples and maintain test data and other inspection records. \xef\x81\xb1

Perform standard dimensional checks and Aluminum hardness tests, inspect parts and assemblies for coverage, thickness, and finish, and perform other inspection operations necessary to check surface treatments, welds, or other processes affecting strength or surfaces of materials.

\xef\x81\xb1 Perform routine Aluminum heat treat inspection operations and other related duties as directed.

\xef\x81\xb1 Refer only unusual conditions to working leader or supervisor.

\xef\x81\xb1 Perform operator checklist as required and comply with all EH&S procedures.

\xef\x81\xb1 As required segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires knowledge of decimals and fractions and the ability to use various measuring instruments and perform basic dimensional inspection checks. Requires short specialized training in quality control processing methods and procedures, or the equivalent.

Experience: 2 to 3 years.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
