Job Description

Responsible of the Manufacturing Area daily process flow operation focusing in the coordination of tasks, assigning priorities, verification and management of documentation associated to area. Assure process flow of product to comply with daily production plan. Ensure a good and healthy work environment through the compliance of procedures, company policies, operational and safety standards.

Responsible of the Manufacturing Area daily process flow operation focusing in the coordination of tasks, assigning priorities, verification and management of documentation associated to area. Assure process flow of product to comply with daily production plan. Ensure a good and healthy work environment through the compliance of procedures, company policies, operational and safety standards.

FORMAL EDUCATION:


Bachelor's degree with one year of experience in similar position


Associate degree with three years of experience in similar position


SKILLS:


1. Teamwork.


2. Good written and oral communication skills.


3. Responsible and highly driven - motivated.


4. Good Decision Making / Judgment / Information Analysis


5. Knowledge on effective meetings


6. Basic knowledge in conflict management


7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel / Word / Power Point / BPCS / AGILE


8. Basic concepts on problem solving, line balancing and root cause analysis


INTERPERSONAL:


Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated, self-starter, and responsible person.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Accountable for:


1. Generates NCR for non- conforming product & materials


2. Assure Manufacturing Area personnel perform their duties with high sense of Quality Awareness


3. Identify area disciplinary situations


a. Provide feedback to the associate


b. Elevate situation to area manager or leader for consequent investigation


4. Assure all Manufacturing Area resources are available and within compliance;


a. Human resources are certified in their respective operations


b. Area required equipment is operational


c. Area equipment is in compliance with its calibration/PMs


d. Area operational supplies are available


5. Coordinate associates vacation plan


6. Assure all manufacturing product are sent to sterilization area


7. Assure production goals are achieved.


a. Monitoring area daily production performance


8. Perform safety daily monitoring Audits


a. Generates accidents / incidents reports as needed


9. Ensure correct resources are acting upon the situation of an equipment repair


a. Ensure support of correct resources within shift to perform the repair is granted


10. Assure Manufacturing Area information flow


a. Coordinate and perform regular communications meetings


11. Promote a good Work Environment


12. Monitor Shift Performance


a. Balance the work load among the area personnel using line balancing concepts


13. Monitoring and maintaining ROLES Program within job area.


a. Perform and documents periodical audits based on audit schedule.


b. Promotes 6S methodology within associates.


c. Suggest improvements.


d. Provides audit findings, create actions and complete.





OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist in:


1. Investigation ( Data gathering of Quality and Process issue)


2. Implement Corrective/ Preventive Actions


3. Identify resources availability for Manufacturing Operation


4. Coordinate special production meetings


5. Determine human resources requirements by roles


6. Execute Manufacturing operations as per applicable SOP's


7. Manage Safety & Emergency issues


8. Implemented Safety corrective actions


9. Measure Safety shift indicators


10. Improve Safety shift indicators


11. Identify process equipment not performing as expected


a. Communicate process capabilities and goals for Manufacturing operations


b. Ensure correct resources are acting upon situation for Equipment Repair


c. Generate work order





Actively Participates in:


1. Unit MRO, Incl. Spare Parts Usage Optimization


a. Variance monitoring


b. Identify causes


c. Identify and recommend opportunities


d. Influence and recommend actions to re direct


e. Identify optimization initiatives


2. Support all activities related to inventories reconciliation.


3. Perform Lot Document Spot Screenings


4. Identify Corrective/ Preventive Actions


5. Create safe conditions by design


6. Continuous education of shift members in Safety


7. Ensure completeness of shift investigations of accidents


8. Identify possible causes of variation/ failure/ under performance for Manufacturing Operation.


a. Monitor mean time between failure for spare parts and breakdowns


b. Analyze through a structured approach to identify root causes


9. Define and prioritize Process KPIs for improvement


a. Select KPIs to improve


b. Define the process to be improved by mapping the process flow


10. Improve Process KPIs performance


a. Create innovate and permanent solutions using technology and methodology


b. Develop and deploy implementation plan


c. Coordination and Execution of improvement plan, including validation


11. Identify Opportunities for Improvements in Equipment Performance


12. Monitor Unit Performance


a. Monitor Unit Performance Indicators


b. People Performance Appraisals & Feedbacks


13. Coordination Overtime for Non- Exempt
