• Prepares, develops, implements and monitors assigned Rail Operations departments\xe2\x80\x99 operating budgets, including detailed support, financial and operating analysis.
• Reviews and analyzes monthly financial performance statements.
• Prepares and develops quantitative and qualitative analysis to adequately support the Rail Operating Budget.
• Reviews, analyzes, approves and controls material and contractual service requisitions.
• Maintains statistical data and analysis of spending in terms of trends and performance measurement to meet various goals and objectives.
• Develops and implements new database systems and concepts to better accomplish job related activities and measure performance.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area.
• Three (3) years of experience in a financial field, including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports and projections, or experience in budget preparation and oversight.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

Essential:

• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred:

• Access software experience desired.
