Job Summary :

As a Principal Data Analytics & Operations Research Analyst , you will participate in Offensive and Defensive Multi-Domain Operations Projects that upgrade Raytheon deployed architectures and systems for US and International customers in all theaters. This is multi-disciplinary work that knits together capabilities, \'know-how\', and products from all Raytheon companies. Tasks require developing and evaluating data/information for benchmarking of models of emerging red side threats, understanding how the US wants to counter these threats, and developing integrated solutions. You will guide teams that develop strategies to run thousands of campaign CONOPS variations and quantify the contribution of component systems (and systems-of-systems) to achieving customer\'s desired end states. You will interact with US and International Customers from original requirement through operations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate :

  • You will work in a team environment on diverse projects providing innovative approaches and solutions to create simulations and models for engagement, mission and campaign studies
  • You will provide technical and schedule direction for development of analysis and simulation products, prepare detailed plans, and interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products
  • You will collaborate with Mission Experts to develop CONOPS and the Effectiveness Measurement Space.
  • You will collaborate with system and technology experts and customers to develop schemes to quantify the offensive and defensive value of concepts across broad spaces
  • You will provide technical expertise for the iteration of simulation products as part of broader studies, demonstrations, proposals, and execution, particularly with large-scale run matrices on high performance computing (HPC) clusters
Qualifications You Must Have :
  • Bachelors\' Degree in Operations Research or a STEM discipline
  • With the above degree, candidates must have 8 years or more experience in the following areas: (an advanced degree can satisfy up to 3 years of experience)
  • Experience developing and using data analysis tools for evaluation of theater scale data sets for offensive or defensive measures or campaigns
  • Experience in programming languages, such as python and/or C++.
  • Experience developing simulations and running on a HPC cluster
  • Academic or work experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or evaluation
  • Four (4) years of experience managing others in engineering and working with other engineering disciplines
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value :
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree
  • Experience managing others using applied system engineering and interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines
  • Intermediate user proficiency in Raytheon or US DoD modeling & simulation software applications and interactive development environments such as AFSIM, OneSAF, STORM, RCADE desired.
  • A working knowledge of missions, tactics, and doctrine across the operational domains of the Military Services and the Joint Operations desired
  • Experience with sports analytics concepts which can be leveraged in a military campaign environment to help quantify performance within the scope of team success.
  • Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, digital communications, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture, inertial navigation, guidance theory
  • Experience with integration of complex system of systems
  • Experience developing and presenting technical briefings
  • Experience in applying "Major Gates" cycles (Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, etc.)
  • Coursework or experience in some of the following fields: probability and statistics, big data analytics, linear algebra, and signals & systems
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
