Midnight to 9am. Sat through Wed (Thurs and Fri off) $1 per hour shift differential.

Shift Differential Available!

$1/hr shift diff for overnights or $.50/hr for evening shift

Definition

Under general supervision, performs data entry functions and a variety of clerical duties by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Functions

  • Interview defendant, collect defendant data, address the data and determine the defendant\'s eligibility for programs.
  • Compile data for defendant file.
  • Complete weekly inmate pod checks for potential Pretrial Release.
  • Input information and interview forms into database; update and maintain data and close files out.
  • Access "menus" in order to retrieve data from the Sheriff\'s and District Attorney\'s files.
  • Assist in the maintenance of paper files and records.
  • Complete defendant backgrounds including details of past criminal history and current criminal charges.
  • Attend daily bond dockets at the jail and/or courthouse.
  • Complete interview process during the bond docket for potential Pretrial Release.
  • Prepare Pretrial packets for Judge approval.
  • May complete and record follow-up calls to clients and referral calls as necessary.
  • May prepare and forward warrant letter form to the client.
  • Answer in-coming calls; relay calls; take messages or give information as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Education equivalent to graduation from a standard four year high school including or supplemented by courses in typing and data entry operations and two years of satisfactory full time paid employment in a court services related program.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Oklahoma Driver\'s License

Assessing and evaluating individuals

Operating a personal computer; accurately input 40 WPM

Maintaining accurate records and files

Performing a variety of general clerical duties

Knowledge -

Principles and practices of pretrial release programs

City/county/state/federal criminal codes and regulations; of court services

Departmental policies and procedures

Word processing software, spreadsheet software, contact management software, database software, and Internet; NCIC terminal

Ability -
