Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in business development and operations management.

The Executive Director is a key role that provides direct management and operational oversight for the practice, ensuring an optimal patient experience and outcome. The role is responsible for all administrative and clinical functions. The role ensures that quality patient care and outstanding customer service are consistently delivered, and the practice runs smoothly and successfully. The role has authority and responsibility for staff development including personnel hiring, promoting, disciplinary actions, and termination for all non-physician personnel in the practice. Essential to this role is the ability to develop close working partnerships with practice physicians and staff, as well as outsourced functions.
In collaboration with the Physician CEO, the Executive Director develops strategic and operational goals, spearheads process improvements and growth initiatives. The role is responsible for optimizing and implementing new workflows, promoting the use of information technology and systems, and monitoring and improving the overall practice performance.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the daily operation of the practice by creating and implementing policies and procedures.
2. Oversee HR and ensure effective administration/implementation of compensation, benefits, job descriptions, personnel policies, and payroll practices.
3. Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of practice staff.
4. Conduct staff performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
5. Resolve administrative and operational problems including the maintenance of clinic property, computer systems, and installed software applications.
6. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
7. Facilitate communications between practice leadership and outsourced functions (IT, accounting, engagement center) and drive accountability and practice performance.
8. Monitor and report KPIs to practice leaders on weekly and monthly basis, anticipates challenge areas, and proactively provides guidance to improve performance.
9. Process and workflow training, implementation, and monitoring at the practice level.
10. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Work with the outsourced accounting function to develop budgets, operational initiatives, and implement any new business plans or growth strategies.
11. Work collaboratively with practice-level leadership and other outsourced functions.
12. Serve as an inspirational motivator in the clinic, demonstrating commitment to the "sales process" company culture and providing a visible and positive presence to both internal and external customers.
13. Promote the use of information technology:
a. Demonstrate an understanding of relevant applications used in area of responsibility.
b. Examine work processes to identify what can be more effective through technology use.
c. Ensure technology adoption at the practice level.
