About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Business Intelligence (BI) reports utilizing the Microsoft Power BI platform for the Data Management Office (DMO). You will use these reports with intentions to provide performance indicators for multiple business units and key initiatives. The data on which these reports are based, is taken from a variety of sources including both structured and unstructured data. In addition, you are to refine the existing reports and the creation of possible new ones, and work with the staff responsible for these reports and endeavor to streamline and automate the data collection and generation of these reports.

  • Analyze data extracts and reports to identify trends and data points.
  • Establish key indicators and solutions for use by management and business unit associates.
  • Responsible for consulting with managers in the use of analytical and reporting tools to develop effective cost, quality, operational and customer satisfaction outcomes.
  • May act as a liaison to collaborate with other operating groups to resolve problems or make recommendations for program/process changes.
  • Responsible for utilizing databases and information systems to research and identify areas for improvement and/or new products. Interprets data and makes recommendations.
  • Facilitate and/or lead projects to ensure useful and accurate data identification, categorization and definitions that enable metric creation. May have a role in the Business Continuity Plan
  • Develop strategic and tactical analytics that support dashboards, data summaries and key indicators.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of department function(s) and in areas of workflow and system data management.
  • Partner with TAG programmers and analysts, external vendors, and business partners in the development of advanced/complex reporting capabilities and resolution of issues relating to reporting applications, tools, and data.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports utilizing multiple databases and software applications, ensuring consistency, standardization, and compliance.
  • Primary focus is on execution with defined parameters with some expansion based on developing capabilities and or experiences in partnership with more experienced staff.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
About You:
  • 7-10 years of related business experience with emphasis in banking, information systems controls or data management
  • Bachelor\'s Degree, required.
  • Master\'s Degree, preferred.
  • Experience with AGILE methodologies
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels across the organization and with external company representatives and vendors.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking products, systems, procedures, regulations, business acumen and ability to interpret data to make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Strong SQL programming skills writing complex SQL Views and/or Procedures.
  • Possess technical expertise with automatic data collection and reporting systems, including capacity for program troubleshooting and system controls.
  • Proven professional experience with data mining, analysis, modeling, of large scale, complex data sets.
  • Hands on experience in Power BI Service & Power BI Desktop
  • Expertise and proven experience in development of reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, aggregating data from multiple sources
  • Other data visualization (Qlik, Tableau, Domo, SAS, etc.) in lieu of Power BI
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having SSAS, SSRS, SSIS

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $64,450.00- $130,682.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
